I bought these for my 4 year old because they were a classic simple style and super cute. It also helped that compared to the $50+ kids shoes we usually buy from Pediped, Ecco, etc. they were relatively cheap. She ended up wearing these to Disney Woeld since we couldn't persuade her to wear tennis shoes with her princess dresses. We were there four days, it rained every day we were there and we did a LOT of walking. Everyone else in our group--adults and kids--had more expensive and more substantial shoes (Adidas, Clarks, Keens), but these were the shoes that dried the quickest and my daughter was the only one to come home without a single blister on her feet or even complaining that her feet/shoes hurt once. I will definitely buy again next year!

I have purchased Sweetheart Saltwater sandals for my girls the last two summers. These sandals are my favorite of all kids shoes. They are very durable and stay looking nice all summer long. I've washed my patent leather pairs in the washing machine and they come out looking new. The sandal looks nice with dresses or casual cloths and holds up with active kids well.
I buy these sandals every summer. The fit is true to size. Because they are adjustable, they fit all summer. And they are indestructible. Worth every penny.
Because I have so many positive things to say, I will get the one negative out of the way first. These tend to run almost a size too small. Last years sandals ( from the Children's Place) are a size 7 and we still can squeeze them on without them hurting or toes hanging over, etc. With this in mind I initially ordered an 8 in the pink. The color was a great soft pink that looked rich, not cheap or "Barbie." My daughter's toes were right at the edge, just about to hang over. The way the shoe is made, the heel strap sits forward just a bit which pushes the foot forward and you loose at least half a size due to this design it seems. I was so disappointed because the style was so cute and the leather was soft and good quality. I sadly had to order a size 9 and she had to wear her "old" sandals to her 3rd birthday party. Amazon has an awesome exchange program, so I was able to exchange them for the same style in silver a few days later when they were back in stock. The silver is a beautiful soft color and not the shiny "plastic" looking finish that I'm used to. They actually look nicer than my silver sandals that were 5 times as much. The best part is that they are made with materials that you can get wet and sandy. Living by the beach this was an important factor for me and now I don't have to worry about her getting them wet or the over hundreds of things that tends to happen to anything a 3 year old "explorer" wears. These will be my first purchase every Spring as long as she will wear them!!! The fact that I no longer have to spend $20 for cheaply made plastic sandals is beyond awesome. Still cannot believe these adorable, well made, actual leather sandals were $25!!! Buy them now before everyone else finds out about them.
